Are you up for a winter challenge?

Just because the days are getting shorter, it doesn’t mean you have to stop cycling. To help you keep inspired, we’ve created a special series of Winter Challenge Rides – now open for free booking.

These Sky Ride Local rides are taking place in November in the following locations: Birmingham, Bournemouth, Brent, Haringey, Havering, Kent, Lewisham, Manchester, Redbridge, Richmond, Southampton and Watford.

These rides are all about getting the best out of your winter riding, perfect for getting out on your bike and warming up on a fresh winter’s morning! As ‘challenging’ rides you can expect distances of twenty miles and above, usually with some hills thrown in along the way. You don’t have to be the next Bradley Wiggins to take part, but you’ll need to be fairly fit.

As an extra incentive for you to join us on those crisp November mornings, we’ll make sure that everybody who registers and attends a Winter Challenge Ride will receive a free Great Britain Cycling Team water bottle.
