Sky Ride

2012 has been an amazing year for cycling and our Sky Ride city events have been some of the best ever! We've enjoyed some great traffic-free bike rides in towns and cities up and down the country.

Sky Ride Local rides are fun, free community bike rides that offer a great way of getting out and exploring your local area and meeting like-minded people.

Breeze is the biggest programme ever to get more women into riding bikes for fun. Our aim is to help thousands more women feel confident and comfortable about going on a ride.

A social network exclusively for cyclists, Social Cycling Groups makes it easy to get together, find a place to ride and enjoy a bike ride at a level and time that suits you.

Fun, informative and hands-on workshops to help you take your bike maintenance know-how to the next level.

Go off-road with Sky Ride Local

Riding round the tarmac streets of your neighbourhood or to and from work is all very well, but sometimes there's nothing like the feel of a dirt track beneath your wheels...

Get out and explore the countryside with our off-road rides from Sky Ride Local. There are still some free places left on these rides which are mostly traffic-free and offer fun bike riding for the whole family. So leave your road bikes behind and come and enjoy the scrunch of gravel and the squelch of mud with us!

The remaining off-road rides are taking place in and close to Birmingham, Bolton, Ipswich, Leicester, Manchester, Middlesbrough, Preston and Southampton.
